Holiday Family Traditions: BLOGMAS Day Eleven

Happy Blogmas, today I share with you my holiday traditions. I talk about a few of my family traditions in these posts here: Quiet or Family Filled Christmas and Pictures & Memories of Christmas Past. (Click on the links to check them out) Besides the traditions I've spoken about we also try and go to Posadas, which are
"...An important part of Mexican Christmas traditions. These community celebrations take place on each of the nine nights leading up to Christmas, from December 16 to 24th. The word posada means "inn" or "shelter" in Spanish, and in this tradition, the Bible story of Mary and Joseph's journey to Bethlehem and their search for a place to stay is re-enacted." -Suzanne Barbezat
It is and was a beautiful thing to be a part of as a kid. My favorite part was to carry the Nativity down the aisle to the front of the church but also the candy at the end was the best part, too.
What's your Holiday Family Traditions?
Do you do Posadas? What do you Celebrate?
Thanks for reading,
I will see you tomorrow for BLOGMAS Day 12.
xoxo,
